Spinning could be seen as a type of indoor cycling on specially designed exercise bikes. Only certified Spinning instructors can teach Spinning Classes. Spinning is set to music and is a way of burning a lot of calories in a short amount of time, normally 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
You set the difficulty of the “terrain” of your workout with the instructor bringing you through what could be seen as a flat, hill incline and hill decline cycle. It is a very good way of constantly pushing yourself while getting motivation from those around you.
It is suitable for beginners all the way to super-fit people. Talk to one of our fitness instructors about what might suit you.
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity. It targets strength building or muscular endurance…
Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise. Think of it as touring the gym, going from machine to machine.
For us, Circuit Training is a group activity with each person starting at a different station/machine and moving around to the next station. Doing this as a group can be very motivating as it feels like the whole group is working towards a final goal.
